An American Land Title Association (ALTA) survey is an integral component of a many real estate transactions and is often required to obtain title insurance.
An ALTA survey graphically depicts all tangible elements of real property. The survey produces a detailed map that shows all site improvements, utilities, and boundaries. The ALTA survey also shows easements (when applicable), rights-of-way, encroachments, and a parking stall count.
